Georgie is the creator and founder of Live and Lets Dance, which she began in 2016. Her students are encouraged and pushed to the highest of their ability, producing amazing yearly shows and productions, while entering talent shows and county festivals.
Georgie has been involved in dance since the age of 4 years old, and has danced professionally all over the world. During High School, Georgie danced 5 nights a week at the Central School of Dance in Norwich. From where she successfully auditioned for Laine Theatre Arts and trained for 3 years, graduating with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre, validated by Trinity College London.
Georgie has a full knowledge and understanding of dance, in aspects of tap, modern, jazz and ballet. Her Musical Theatre Diploma also incorporated training in singing and acting. Georgie graduated from Laine Theatre Arts at the level of: Intermediate Ballet, Advanced 1 Tap and Advanced 1 Modern.
After graduating Georgie was a professional dancer for Costa Cruise Line, where she gained tremendous experience, performing twice nightly in 3 separate choreographed shows. Her cruise life took her from Italy and the Mediterranean, to Russia, Norway and Iceland and as far afield as The Caribbean.
Following on from Costa Cruises, Georgie joined Spirit of the Dance, where she performed in both The Spirit of Christmas in Canada and America and The Spirit of Broadway on a tour of China. This experience saw Georgie performing to audiences up to 10,000 in huge arenas.
Georgie married in 2011 and for a number of years worked for Premier Sport and in addition to dance, can now coach students in many aspects of P.E. She is still working in many local schools coaching young children in her love of sport as well as dance.
Starting her own dance school 3 years ago, began with little steps and now she has regular classes every week, teaching many aspects of dance to youngsters from 3 years old to her seniors. Georgie absolutely loves her dance school and teaching youngsters the sheer joy of dance and movement. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing children grow in confidence and enjoy her classes and leave with a smile on their faces.
